F.C. Portland Academy
High School State Champioinships
F.C. Portland Academy was well represented in the 2007 Oregon High School State Soccer Finals with 29 players and 3 coaches participating in the championships games on the boys' and girls' sides.
Head Coach Brandon McNeil (U12 Boys Bronze, Jr. Academy, and US Soccer Development Academy) and Assistant Coach John Wallace (U18 Girls Royal) led the Lincoln High School Girls to an undefeated season, culminating with a 6a State Championship.
Head Coach Steve Ancheta (U18 Girls Royal) and Assistant Coaches Mike Joyce (U12 and U13 Girls) and Miguel Guante (U11 Boys) coached the Central Catholic Boys to an exciting win over Grant for the 6a State Title. Congratulations to all our players who participated in the High School State Tournament this year!
We look forward to even more growth and success during our 2007/2008 competitive season which is now underway!
