Boys ECNL Program
2026-2027 Season
Boys ECNL Program (U13-U19)
Overview
The ECNL Boys Program is designed for highly competitive players seeking the highest level of competition and development in club soccer. Competing locally, regionally, and nationally, the ECNL pathway represents the top platform in Oregon outside of professional academy systems, providing a high-level environment for player growth and exposure.
Each age group features two teams - ECNL and ECNL Regional League (ECNL RL) - creating a competitive structure that supports both high performance and long-term development. The program emphasizes technical growth, tactical understanding, and preparation for the next level, including college and beyond.
Player Pathway & Team Structure
Players participate in annual tryouts and, if selected, are placed into the ECNL Pool for their age group. Throughout the summer, coaching staff evaluate and determine team placement, allowing players time to develop and earn their position. Decisions on team placement is finalized a the end of the summer (U13-U14) and in November (U15-U19).
Movement between ECNL and ECNL RL teams can remain fluid through the season, with both teams operating within a unified development model and shared club methodology.
Competition & Exposure
Teams compete in the ECNL Far West Conference and ECNL RL Far West Conference, facing top clubs from across the region, including matchups against Idaho-based teams.
ECNL teams participate in national showcases, while ECNL RL teams have opportunities to attend regional and national events. These platforms provide meaningful exposure to college coaches and scouts, while offering players the chance to compete against top talent from across the country.
League play includes travel to Boise, providing a unique competitive experience against out-of-state opponents. Travel typically includes one trip per season for U15-U19 ECNL teams and all ECNL RL teams, while U13-U14 ECNL teams generally make two trips per season.
The overall competition environment is designed to challenge, foster long-term development, and prepare them for success at the next level.
